Political Correctness is a ONE-WAY STREET
Political correctness is vaguely defined by some dictionaries as SOMETIMES DEROGATORY - conformity to prevailing liberal or radical opinion by carefully avoiding forms of expression or action that are perceived to insult or exclude groups of people.
Political correctness is a ONE-WAY STREET! If a politician is a Democrat, especially a female, they’ll be utterly excoriated by reactionary Republicans, to apologize for hurting their feelings! A white male GOP politico can say whatever the hell they want!
In 2016 - Trump supporters claimed he is “not scared to offend people” - yet these same supporters are perpetually offended - about everything - forever! They’re always seeking apologies.
This same year - former President Trump and the reactionary editors of the Albuquerque Journal blamed ‘Political Correctness’ for the Pulse Nightclub shooting that killed 49 people and injured 53 more. This remains the deadliest attack against LGBTQ Americans in the history of our country. Trump and these editors raged at former President Obama for not saying the words ‘Radical Islam’.
“TRUMP: I will tell you who the better friend is and some day I believe that will be proven out bigly (ph). (APPLAUSE) And by the way the LGBT community is just — what’s happened to them is just so sad and to be thinking about where their policies are currently with this administration is a disgrace to that community” 2016
Trump was still pro LGBTQ (ish) in 2016, but the editors of the Journal couldn’t even bring themselves to say the acronym LGBTQ+. It took the reactionary editors of the ABQ Journal over a week to respond to, what was at the time, the worst mass shooting in history. Ken Walzs, Karen Moses, and D’val Westphal ended up writing a bizarre screed that parroted far-right echo chambers.
A few months later, the crusaders against Political Correctness - the Albuquerque Journal Editorial board whiffed on endorsing a candidate for President of the United States, in part because Hillary offended the feelings of Trump’s supporters while trying to ‘both sides’ the ignorance and racism of Donald Trump.
When New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was at a campaign event a few years ago, with Republican protesters holding signs comparing her to Hitler, while giving her the Nazi salute - she cracked a joke about QANON Lizard People, resulting in the Albuquerque Journal Editorial ‘A New Low in Public Discourse’. She wasn’t calling for violence, she simply cracked a joke! It’s remarkable that local journalists actually give credence to the idea that Democrats harvest kids’ adenechrome in Pizza parlours.
Hypocrisy is a noun that means pretending to have virtues, principles, or beliefs that one does not actually have. It can also refer to advocating behaviors that one does not practice.
Like most MAGA/GOP accusations - they usually end up being confessions! “Psychological projection is a defense mechanism people subconsciously employ to cope with difficult feelings or emotions. Psychological projection involves projecting undesirable feelings or emotions onto someone else, rather than admitting to or dealing with the unwanted feelings.”

Only one party is politically correct - the other is ‘patriotic’! The vague War on P.C. Culture is now the vague War on the WOKE : )

(Just Not How You Think.)’ “Conservative PC is so powerful in the U.S. that much of it is adopted by both political parties and all of the corporate media. Indeed, right-wing political correctness is so dominant that it’s politically incorrect to refer to it as political correctness. Instead, we call it things like “patriotism.”
